Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Pinch of sea salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup sultanas
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
Method
Boil the water in a saucepan.
Add the sea salt, then mix in the rolled oats
Turn the heat down low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly
Add the cinnamon, sultanas and chopped walnuts. Give it a good stir and remove pan from the heat.
Allow your porridge to stand for 5 minutes
Serving suggestion: add a lick of honey, a dash of milk (skim, if you prefer) and top with freshly sliced fruit.
